If this team can just scratch and find its way to Cleveland it's going to be so beneficial for next year experience wise. They just need to get that experience even if it's just a one and done in Cleveland.

+1 on getting to Cleveland. Getting a home game, and then a victory would be huge for this young group. We need to steal a game from one of the top tier teams in the next ten days, then it might come down to getting a win at Miami to qualify for a home game.

If the Bobcats can win two of final three, they'd be assured of at least a .500 record overall. Two of the next three plus one tournament win would make the Bobcats over .500. That would be about as much as I could have hoped for this season.

BG sent a message to Akron last night. I read the Zips board, especially after a loss, for the humor. Man I hope that's not what we look like here when we get beat. They go from "we're world beaters" to "we may not win another game the rest of the way" because they got run by a good team at their building. Relax, Zippies.

I'd like to think the collective on here is more even keel than being really high then really low.

I used to want to think that too. Is the collective here really even keel though?

Personally I've always thought Bobcat hoops fans are way more even keeled than Bobcat football fans. Maybe it is just the nature of the sport / how important each game is.

Agree as Bobcat football fans seem to be not as even keeled. Could be that playing only 12 games compared to 31, give the basketball team many more opportunities during the season. Add in the fact every league school gets another chance in the MAC tournament.

We all knew going into this year it could get rocky, but with the guards we have we can create havoc if the right opportunities present themselves. As FearLeon said, if we can get to Cleveland (and I know this board will shoot me for saying this line), we can win the whole damn thing. Call me crazy, but this group has the potential to string together 3 days in Cleveland

Perhaps. I guess I feel like the keel has been less even in general in the last 3-4 years.

I was entertained by the Beefs board. Thought ranging from Ohio pays the refs to cheat and they can't wait to get out of this "shit" league as they were scoreless for a huge segment of the game.

It seems that Akron and Buffalo are the most absurd boards out there. I have always been a lurker at Western as, for some reason, Bronco fans think they are a dominant basketball school.

Reading other boards is pure entertainment.

If Roderick really becomes a consistent threat, we just might find a way.

LOL on what planet do they think any other league might come calling for them? I mean I guess the AAC will have an opening in football once UConn leaves, but I'm willing to bet they go after someone like Army or maybe even App State.

They would be a great fit for the MAAC with all the other SUNY schools. ;-)

Every MAC school that tastes some football or MBB success has a number of fans who clamber to escape the conference that's suddenly beneath them. You saw plenty of it around here when we were coming off a Sweet 16 and the football team sneaked into the Top 25 for a nanosecond.

Delusions of grandeur are not unique to one MAC fan base.

I remember those and they were ridiculed accordingly.
