Not impressed. Assuming every prospect posts on Twitter that they are "blessed to receive an offer from so and so", we aren't even making offers to anyone who can help there.

The team has added another freshman. Vivienne Macheck from Switzerland. Apparently she has a familiarity with the state of Ohio as she played some high school ball at Napoleon a few years ago.

I wish her well and hope she is soon a difference-maker, but yet another mid-sized guard/wing forward.

Size costs money, even in women's basketball. How much money does Bob Boldon have in his player acquisition budget? Zilch.

Yes, it's "nil" as oldkatz might put it. I had this confirmed from a very reliable source. Several other MAC schools do allocate funds for women's basketball players. We are falling behind even in the intra-MAC race.

Okay, but is it matter of trying to land size and failing because of money? Or have we abandoned trying altogether in hopes of catching the next Erica Johnson/Cece Hooks/Amani Burke combo together again?
