The regular season is complete. Below is each player's grade prior to the playoff 'final exams':
A+ JASON PRESTON: Complete player. Strikes fear in opposing team's defense. Arguably, most improved player in the MAC.
A- BEN VANDER PLAS: Pleasure to watch. Very productive. Free throwing stood in the way of a higher mark.
B+ JORDAN DARTIS: High marks for comeback, leadership and shooting ability.
B+/B LUNDEN McDAY : Significant freshman contributor. Important piece for the future.
B SYLVESTER OGBONDA: Valuable addition. Improvement as season progressed.
B- BEN RODERICK: Late start. Overcame two injuries. Upside is there as he gains experience. Experience begets confidence and productivity will come with confidence.
C- NOLAN FOSTER: Hard worker. Contribution to be determined.
I (Incomplete): Players not mentioned.
Love the idea of the report card.
McDay gets an A-....dude has been nothing but glue for this team.
Dartis I'd give a B....love he's back....but he's not the old Jordy.
Foster I'd give a D...he's regressed.
And you left out one important grade....Jeff Boals. Have to give him and A-. If Ohio could have held onto at least two games where they had big halftime leads it would be an A.
