no one will want to play us no matter the seed!
Yes, the first not-said-in-jest "the team that no one wants to play" projection on BA in 2020.

My I counter with Ball St being that team no one wants to play after drubbing NIU in DeKalb Friday night and finishing 4-1 down the stretch?

Or perhaps UT after they blew out EMU in their final game and also finished 4-1 down the stretch?

Or even those same EMU Eagles, who finished 6-5 after going winless in their first 7 MAC contests?

Or a real long shot, the CMU Chips, who won Friday to end a 9-game losing streak?

I believe we will get Central Michigan on Monday and then Akron on Thursday. I like it.

BSU/s win tonight gives them the #3 seed. They're in a three-way tie with NIU and Buffalo. BSU swept NIU and split with Buffalo, so they're 3-1. NIU beat Buffalo, so they and Buffalo are both 1-2. NIU gets #4 for its head-to-head win over Buffalo, which gets the fifth seed.

In addition, EMU is the 11th seed because both EMU and WMU had no wins vs Akron and BG, but EMU was swept by BSU, while WMU split with BSU.

So the seeding is:
1. Akron
2. BG
3. BSU
4. NIU
5. Buffalo
6. Kent
7. Toledo (wins head-to-head tiebreaker over Ohio)
8. Ohio
9. CMU
10. WMU
11. EMU
12 Fiami

So here are the Monday games:
Fiami at Buffalo
EMU at Kent
WMU at Toledo
CMU at Ohio

I wonder if we'll have the band Monday night. With OCF's fake semesters, a first round home game with students is a thing of the past. Sad.

So what happens if both the men and women host on Monday?
Russ seemed to indicate it would be 5pm and 730
ESPN.com has a 7 pm start. Hope that's accurate so I don't miss any of Better Call Saul episode 4 starting at 9.

The women are the #4 seed in their tourney and don't play until Wednesday in Cleveland vs either WMU or BG.

The men do play at 7:00 on ESPN+. I thought there might a problem setting up a TV feed because it's spring break at Ohio and usually when the kids are on break home games aren't on ESPN+. Glad they apparently were able to arrange it.
