It was. Still is. Unless you're scared of lightning or over 65.

This is an incredibly dumb statement.

Given that 140,000 people died with shut downs, I'm really curious what you think that path here was that would have allowed a regular season MAC game to avoid cancellation.

What's your stance here? That we could have just ignored this altogether? I know that was your stance back in March -- along with the idea that this was just politics in an election year -- but I'd have thought all the deaths and positive cases might have changed your thinking.

Curious to hear what the alternative you're proposing would have looked like.

I am posting something off a friends page on facebook. I did not copy the photograph of the lady but I am doing this to illustrate how health professionals are being disportionately affected due to higher exposure times from their work situation. Do we really want to say it is not a big deal while nurses and doctors die? And in Athens, go to the health department site and you will see almost all the recent cases have been younger adults, not older folks. With the long term consequences still not known, this is not good.

I am writing this post with a very heavy heart. A good friend of mine called me this morning and told me that her beautiful daughter had passed away during the night.

Samantha Hickey was a Nurse Practitioner here in Caldwell. She worked in Pediatrics. She took all the precautions and still she got Covid-19. She found out that she was positive last Monday. She felt like she was getting better but, then it got to her heart. Causing her to have a heart attack and loosing her life.

She leaves behind 2 grown boys and two small children. Ages 7 and 5.

Sam was 45 years old. She didn’t drink, never smoked, never did drugs. She exercised regularly. There were no underlying concerns.

Her mom is completely heart broken and can’t even go hug her grandchildren because they all have to be in quarantine.

Those of you who think this is a hoax or that it can’t happen to you, wake up! This is very real!

RIP Sam, you will be missed.

I'm pretty sure this is the same poster who claimed that this was named COVID-19 because it was the 19th strain of Coronavirus. I wouldn't say he's the source of much intelligent information on this topic.

Tell that the 40 year old former assistant of Frank, or to the grandfather of an OHIO Basketball player who transmitted COVID to him.

That’s a great analogy.

But I don’t go out in a thunderstorm, stand on a hill and hold up a 3 iron.

To your credit, lightning is less of an issue when you're buried in sand.
