Are we currently only scheduled to play Maryland Eastern Shore and Marshall before MAC schedule in January?

Any word on games that are set for Nov/Dec that haven’t been posted on official schedule yet?

Now that the NCAA has cleared the way for teams to complete in more then one multi team event wonder if Ohio u. will finish its non conference schedule in a multi team event in another big 10 or ACC or Atlantic 10 multi team event.

With the President and Senior VP staff having their wages and bonuses being headline news in town. Along with the budget issues - layoffs. I doubt ( would look really bad ) we see any games that require multiple day hotel stays or air travel. But I could be wrong. I just HOPE we can watch the home games this year. I'm sure it will be remote, at home. As the broadcasts are part of a class project / lab it would require the students to be back .

Louisville announces 9 team tournament (not sure how you do a 9 team tournament). No MAC teams included.

I see where ohio state backed out of their early season appearance out west maybe the bobcats will be invited there to do something.

I think the reason o$u is out would prevent any team from Ohio from participating.

I meant since ohio state was going maybe ohio state would host a MTE that Ohio U. might get invited to as a possibility

Based on this tweet from NC A&T, we know the schedule but not the times of the MTE in Illinois.

https://twitter.com/ncatmbb/status/1325450203047014403/ph...

Wright State 11/25
NC A&T 11/26
Illinois 11/27

The Illinois board also leaves the possibility open that their football game with the Buckeyes will be flexed to 11/27, moving our basketball game to 11/28.

Looks like that tweet is gone now. Really hope that event happens. If we can get 5 OOC games in I will be pretty happy with that.

Marshall released their non-conference schedule and our game on December 13th is still on. Something in my brain thought maybe everyone was blowing up their schedule after the November 25 start date was announced.

I'm seeing non-con schedules with anywhere from 6-9 games, so assuming our Maryland-Eastern Shore game is still on, we could still have anywhere between 1-4 games yet to be known.

Illinois has posted their full schedule. Their release says that the games there will be afternoon sessions (does that mean only Illinois' games or all games in this MTE?). Doesn't look like we know everything, but our game against the Illini is set for Black Friday at 12 noon (CT) on BTN.

According to this blog, UMES was only going to play a conference schedule starting in January, so maybe our game has been cancelled for some time.

Great...thanks. I know it's a fluid situation, but would be nice if the school website would list what is happening and put it on the schedule. The Illinois tourney isn't even up on ohiobobcats.com.

The Illini release specifies the game order of the MTE. Any game involving the Illini is the first game of its day, so I would imagine the Wright State game would be around 4:30 ET on the 25th and the NCAT game would be around 2:30 on Thanksgiving.

I'm finding the lack of announcements puzzling as well -- everywhere in college hoops. The world knows its fluid, I agree. I feel like announcing what the plan is would make sense, while everyone knows that any plan, in 2020-2021, is subject to change.

100% agree.

It's mind boggling. We have a better chance finding out the nuclear codes than we do finding out anything about Ohio's November/December schedule.

Just reported -- Wright State will not play in the event at Illinois next week. they're "pausing" for COVID reasons. Akron is as well.
