Aren't they injury lawyers?
Yes, they have a team of female paralegals that can ball.

Anybody know how to watch Tuesday's game at Syracuse? The Orange website says it is on "ACCNX", which is part of ESPN's balkanized channel lineup. It's not a pay-per-view like BTN Plus. You have to subscribe to either a cable provider or a streaming service that includes the ACC Network as part of their package. If you do, then you can stream ACCNX. I don't have cable, but I do have a Sling account. Sling was supposed to include the ACC Network, but then Disney, which owns ESPN, pulled the rug on that deal. And even if I did have cable, it would be Spectrum, which doesn't seem to offer the ACC Network in our area. Any helpful hints?
Do a trial subscription to one of the online services that offers ACC Network. I believe Hulu's live TV and YouTube TV offer it.
Thanks. I'm hoping they play well tonight in the Dome. Last time an Ohio WBB team played there was in 2008. The Orange won 67-62. Jennifer Bushby led the Cats with 17.

Syracuse up 31-30 at the half on a buzzer beating 3. Ohio followed a hot shooting start with an 8 point second quarter.

They played well, looking forward to the rest of the season!

They looked averse to taking shots in the mid-range when they need points late while Cuse extended the lead. Their style of play echoes the direction the NBA has taken in the last five years (playing small is okay, get layups and threes), but 12 foot jumpers were wide open and we didn't take them. The Orange must have had at least five blocks in the 4th quarter while we attempted several contested layups. Take the open look!

Agree shab, the performance in the 4th quarter was disappointing with some bad decisions. They had a shot against a great team in a historic arena and couldn't rise to the challenge. But it is a GREAT experience for them and helps them be battle tested. I was hoping we would keep it within 6 or so for the final for resume purposes but can't really complain. 3 other chances to get nice wins with Ohio State, Pitt & Texas on the docket.

I watched a decent amount of it. It felt like we played them pretty even until the cold stretch at the end of the 3rd/beginning of the 4th. And that sunk us. I'm not disappointed, though. This team is going to take a few L's with the non-con schedule they have coming. It should have them prepped to run through the MAC and put them in a position to take on one of these P5 ranked teams on a neutral court in March. And I like their chances then.

Agreed. This is really a 3-point-or-layup offense, and I'd love to see them add a mid-range option. The better teams are extending their 2-3 zones to contest the threes, and keeping their bigs near the basket to smother the drives when Ohio gets past perimeter defenders. Elbow jumpers and baseline shots look to be there for the taking.

Yeah, we play six name programs this year. But don't sleep on American. 20+ wins each of the last few seasons.

AU guard Indeya Sanders got clobbered by a Ohio cheerleader running out for the second half. At least she got to post it on twitter with the eternal question: block or charge?

I don't want to come off biased, but that was a clear block. The cheerleader had a direct path past her (albeit cutting it close), and she took a step into the path at the wrong time.

I'm from down the road and saw her play in high school a couple times. She did the same kind of things then.

The Bobcats are No. 9 in the ESPN Mid-Major rankings, dropping from fifth before the season.

Nice win tonight. For three quarters, Marshall hung with the Bobcats. But in the fourth, Ohio showed another gear, and the Herd couldn't match it. Kind of like the Syracuse game, with the roles reversed. Amani Burke keyed the run with a couple of treys, and the defense suddenly looked a lot like last year's. Katie Barker hit six threes to offset cold shooting nights for Hooks and Johnson.

It was a game of runs, that was for sure. A big run for Ohio early in the game put us up 15, then Marshall went on a large run and cut the deficit down. Marshall closed the half strong to cut it to 1. I was expecting a close game the resat of the way but when Burke got hot late in the game a good Ohio run put them away. As frustrating as it seemed to be at times for Ohio, Cece Hooks very nearly got Ohio their second triple double in as many games. I believe she finished with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists. Tough night shooting for Cece and Erica Johnson, but Barker/Burke/Burris picked up the slack.

Hooks had 8, 10, 8 & 6 (steals). Now that Erika got the first triple-double in OHIO WBB history, get ready for the first quadruple-double! Hooks was great and Amani closed the deal but Barker getting hot from distance was key and her confidence shooting the ball will be big going forward IMHO. Go Cats.
