The Ohio men's basketball team has made two changes to the current 2020-21 non-conference schedule. The Bobcats have added a home game with Purdue Northwest on Thursday, Dec. 10 inside the Convocation Center. Ohio's Dec. 18 home game against Mississippi Valley State has been cancelled.
The Bobcats are set to take on Purdue Northwest inside the Convo on Thursday (Dec. 10), Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. General public will not be permitted until further notice. A maximum of four tickets per student-athlete will be available for family members.
Purdue Northwest finished 10-18 (5-15 GLIAC) overall a year ago and increased the program's win total for the second straight season. PNW enters its second season as a full-fledged member of NCAA Division II in 2020-21.
PNW returns its top three scorers including all-conference performer Jyrus Freels. Freels led the Pride in scoring (14.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.1 rpg) while producing four double-doubles in his junior campaign.
Leading a group of newcomers is 6-foot-7 sophomore transfer Vincent Miszkiewicz, who started all but two games last season at University of the Incarnate Word. Additionally, junior transfer Mikell Cooper has joined the Pride after finishing fifth in the nation in scoring last season at McHenry County College.
The Pride played an exhibition game with Mid-American Conference foe Bowling Green on Dec. 3, with the Falcons winning, 88-67, inside the Stroh Center.

This is a good move as it keeps the players game ready as well as it gives the coaches more gameS to evaluate all players as well as to institute different plays.

"inside the Convocation Center" - this made me chuckle.
