Is this the same Marlene Stollings that played for Ohio in the late 90's?

The story here, for Bobcats, is the firing of former Ohio player, Marlene Stollings who scored the most points in a career in Ohio high school basketball history (men and women, but I don't know if that record still holds): then Stollings was recruited by THE osu and played 2 years there before transferring to Ohio where she excelled in the MAC for 2 years. I watched her play in the Convo- a 5-11, pure shooter from deep. These allegations about her program at Tech are sad and troubling.

p.s. I have shared previously on this board the screw job Kirby "whole cut" Holcutt did to minor sports teams in the short time he was here.

I did not know she was a Bobcat when I read the story in my local paper. I know he took some heat for the cuts, but he may have been ahead of his time. He was certainly a career climber and is clocking in at 1.5M per.

Her story is certainly sad if true. Women’s coaching is just as competitive as men’s and this is the result.

This is clearly troubling, look at that attrition, Kirby had little choice here. She had clearly lost the locker room. Maybe why she's never been anywhere too long?

Could have been a simple PJ Fleck approach that got misconstrued. That said, when you're running off new players, then it's a problem
