Another Purdue senior has hit the transfer portal in guard Nojel Eastern. I bring it up here because he is rumored to be going to Western Michigan. He had a habit of wearing their gear to press conferences. All-conference, lockdown defense. Couldn't hit water if he fell out of the boat. Seems like a good kid, but sadly, whatever team gets Eastern, gets his mama. From her many posts on Purdue forums, she's a basket case.

I should add that his situation is similar to that of Bobcat Dwight Wilson: currently a sit one, play one, but who knows what will happen with transfer waivers due to the virus.

(As for Purdue, they are now out of seniors for next year, and given the massive influx of talent coming up, they are on a similar development curve as the Bobcats.)

Ishmael El-Amin is returning to Ball State. Says he's happy there. That is a huge boost for the Cardinals.

Graves returning, while not a surprise, is great for UB and good for MAC basketball. While Ohio should be an improved team next year, winning the MAC East will not be easy. BG and UB will be solid and I bet Akron and Kent, despite losing a lot, will be strong again.

Losing Dartis and his outside shot will be the key gap to fill. 80 threes is a big number.

Arguably three of the best players in the league are all back and in the East in Jackson, Graves and Preston. Looking forward to an excellent race this winter.

Roderick will up his game and I will make a bold prediction that Jalen White will emerge as a sharpshooter. Check out his form. He is a scorer. Not much else but a gut feeling!!

He's also a leader in the community, as he reportedly was a big part of this:

Sources: Pitt's Nike Sibande had his waiver for immediate eligibility denied by the NCAA. School will appeal. Transfer from Miami (Ohio).— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) https://twitter.com/JonRothstein/status/13091913120680304...
I read somewhere else a main reason it was turned down was because Miami did not support it.

Sibande should have gone to UK or o$u or UNC for immediate eligibility to be granted.

You're not implying the NCAA can be influenced and bought are you? ;-)
