Unfortunately at this point in the season it's pretty clear which teams stand out from the rest of the pack even despite playing fewer games...

Tier 1
Toledo (11-4)
Bowling Green (10-3)
Akron (5-3)
Kent State (6-3)
Buffalo (5-4)


Tier 2
Ohio (7-6)
Central Michigan (6-7)

Tier 3
Miami (4-4)
Eastern Michigan (4-5)
Western Michigan (2-8)
Northern Illinois (2-10)

I would put Ball State in your Tier Two and put Central Michigan in Tier Three.
