Has anyone else had trouble listening to games on Tune-In? I've tried to listen to the past few games only to get the Ohio IMG promo stuff but no game.

I tried it without instant success and, being the impatient guy I often am, immediately went to Ohio Radio which worked fine for me.

I have had to switch to Ohio Radio since Football. I often used TuneIn for years but lately it is crapping on me. Ohio Radio on the other hand has been really good except it shuts down every 12 to 17 minutes for some reason. Can't quite figure out why. I am thinking of trying Tune in with other Ohio Radio Network stations or downloading the Power 105 app. and seeing if that works.

The only issue I've had with either is the frequent hiccuping that repeats the previous second or two of audio. The Power 105 feed doesn't have that.

TuneIn hasn't worked for me at all for games in the past few years. Sad since it used to work pretty well.

So I use Ohio Bobcats radio site which works decently.

There are two separate Learfield IMG Tune-In stations for Ohio sports. One for Ohio Football, and a separate station for Ohio Basketball. It may be you were trying the one for Football. I don’t know if it’s always been like this, but noticed during football season. I listened to the BG game via the Learfield IMG Tune-In station for Ohio Basketball without issue.

The station for Ohio Football does not broadcast the basketball games and vice versa. That might be your problem.

I had issues for a while, TuneIn app wants me to upgrade to subscription to listen.

Now i just click the radio link off Ohio Mens Basketball twitter feed on gameday and connect my wireless speaker(s).

I still have TuneIn app downloaded but the link allows me to listen hassle free.

No, I definitely make sure it’s basketball. I get no option for the OU game. It also did the same for football this year. I haven’t been able to listen to a single game.

Edit to clarify:

I see options for both the basketball IMG and football IMG but they never indicate games (while it'll tell me if OSU is playing) and if I click on the respective one, it just plays the promo on a loop.

My Ohio feed keeps stopping as of late and has a message I can't recall but I have to restart. My TuneIn does not even work past the commercial I have to wait through to find out it won't work. F them if they think I am going to subscribe to the sub par ghost of what I have used for years.

Odd, I use the Tune-in station for both Ohio Football and Ohio Basketball ball for pretty much ever game. I sync the audio from Tune-in to the TV/webcast broadcast on mute. I do not have a subscription.

This worked today as well. Hmmm...

Same here. To that end, I use it a lot for games besides Ohio games throughout the season. It's very interesting to hear other broadcast teams, and approaches to how to call the home team's games. It's been said time and again, but listening to other teams' radio guys and gals gives a great appreciation for the folks we have here. There are not many who are better than OUr pairing of Russ & Rob, and Marty on ESPN+ casts.

I follow a lot of Bearcat and Flyer basketball, and you'll hear A LOT of "we" in those broadcasts from former player color analysts. I'd say one of my favorites to listen in to is Butler's Mark Minner.(sp?) He does a bang up job on the radio.
