Ohio's level of intensity at Buffalo was on par with the Illinois and Cleveland St games. It went missing for about six weeks. Let's hope it makes the trip to Mt. Pleasant.
Trap game, perhaps?
I don't know if it was a trap game but we sure seemed flat in the first half. Not a lot of energy. Looked better in the 2nd half so maybe Boals gave them a little pep talk.

It's hard to believe that CMU had just one foul in the first half, and that came with 1:33 to go. I think we didn't get into the bonus until 3:37 left in the game.

We had six players with double-figure scoring tonight, which I think is the most in any game this season. We had only five in the Cleveland St game.

With Kent beating Fiami we've moved into fourth place, a half-game behind Kent for third and a game behind Akron for second.

Sloppy game. 17 turns not going to work out against the MAC top 4.
He is getting that "Tone" touch - but uses the board more from the sides vs middle of the lane

Wilson's FG percentage is so high it can be seen from space.

I know very little about CMU and their style of play, but I would surmise our dominance on 2 pointers and our weak night of turnovers are related. Seemed to me like the CMU defenders aggressively anticipated passes and went for steals. It worked out a good bit but it also failed miserably a lot.

McDay had a great night. Agree BVP had 3-4 really ugly plays but in terms of shot selection he had a great night. Did not hoist in some ill-advised moments, chose good shots and worked to the tune of 3 for 4 from 3. That's the type of shooter he needs to be...take it when it is there.

Ben Roderick seems like the type of guy who apologizes when he goes alone and gets it in euchre. So my favorite moment of the night was when he rejected a shot and then flexed and screamed a bit afterwards.

That is truly nuts. With a side of bananas.

+1 for the euchre reference and +3 for spelling it correctly.

He deserves the full four point play for spelling it correctly. ;)

That's a really good point about Central creating turnovers by risking jumping passing lanes but giving up easy twos.

The date of this game is pretty close to the Blizzard of 78 journey coming back from CMU!

CMU did much better in the first half yesterday than they did in the Convo a few years ago when they didn't score for the first nine minutes or so and wound up with, I believe, 7 points in the half.
