Dakich absolutely eviscerated Kent and Pippen in the second half over lack of effort. Other than the fact that Akron went brain dead after they got up 17 with about 5 minutes left, Dan thought Kent embarrassed themselves they gave such a lame performance. Was stunned how critical he was of the Senderoff’s team.
You mean this Dan Dakich who had and 89 and 89 MAC record?
From 1997 to 2007 he served as the head coach at Bowling Green State University where he compiled a record of 156–140 (.527). He coached one player who signed a professional contract[citation needed], including former Indiana Pacers guard Keith McLeod. During Dakich's tenure, BGSU never made it to the NCAA Tournament. Dakich had losing seasons in four of his last five years with BGSU, and resigned as head coach in 2007.[5]
Yeh, that's a guy I would hold up as an expert.
