I'm a cord-cutter, so with streaming I have no way to make a recording (let alone a hard-copy recording) of NCAA Tournament games. Anyone out there have the capability to record games onto, say, a DVD? Or to record them as digital files that could be transferred?

(If it was the former scenario, I'd be willing to send $$$ to cover the cost of a disk and shipping.)

I believe there are ways to try to "capture" the recording of a game streamed online... anyone know how?

Win or lose, I'd like to keep a recording of all our NCAA games.

Just about all of the streaming services have free DVR. Are you sure you don't? If not, try signing up for a free trial of one of the other services. I don't have CBSSN as part of my Directv package, so I've been making the rounds with free trials of FUBO, Hulu and YouTube TV and they all have DVRs. You should be able to download the files from there. You might check them out.

A little OT: The 2012 UNC and 94 Indiana tourney games are on Youtube. Does anyone know if the 2005 Florida, 2012 Michigan or 2010 Georgetown games are available anywhere? Even though we won, that 2012 USF game can stay in the ether. That was an UGLY game.

I have Hulu Live, which of all things recently dropped CBS -- yes, I can't even get an over-the-air channel. But regardless, it never had TruTV. Even so, with the DVR function on Hulu Live, there's no option to download recordings to a computer.

I plan to watch games on the March Madness app with a family member's cable login.

Do FUBO or YouTube TV have all the March Madness channels and also have the ability to record and then download files to a Mac?

Fubo doesn't but YouTube TV apparently does. They have a 5-day free trial available. Sling also carries TBS, TNT and Tru but not the local CBS channels. I'm not sure about downloading.

The UNC game is worth the watch even though we lost. Ditto to the Florida game if that is out there...
