Dovetailing off this, I think if UVA can't play then Louisville is the first alternate. I'm not sure who I'd rather play.

UVa won't know status for sure until Thursday testing. Not heading to Indiana until Friday. If they can't play we'll get a bye as the replacement teams are only available through 6pm Tuesday. keep in mind that UVa only needs 5 healthy to stay in the tourney. All players are separated until their Thursday tests.

Yeah NCAA (and UVA for that matter) are going to do everything possible to avoid the forfeit. I don't see it happening. Now Virginia may only show up with 7 players the night before the game, but they'll be there IMO.

If there’s a coach who could win a game with five players, it’s Tony Bennett. He’s been practicing for that scenario his entire coaching career.

Good point. They already play the slowest pace in all of D1. They may just slow it down on us even further with lack of players and (likely) not a lot of legs under them.

Our only shot is to speed them up somehow IMO (said every team to play UVA always).

Scarier part is that as they added more depth throughout the tournament, it could really be to their advantage to have a bunch of guys sit out early and have fresh bodies ready to go later

Oh, Louisville. They're not very good.

Interesting.

UVA can not get to Indy till Friday. Have to have 2 negative tests 12 hours apart to be able to play once they are on the ground. Once play begins there are no substitutions.

2100 COVID tests so far in INDY. NO positives this far.
