Only one freshman on the Wooden list this year.

It seems likely this will continue next year since all the "Seniors" this year get a free year back next season.

Combine all the upperclassmen on the Wooden list - with the fact all the blue chip schools who rely on super frosh 1-and-done guys (UK, Duke, UNC) are all having really subpar years - and you have to think the 2020-21 Freshman class was really really weak.

Also worth mentioning that 2 of the projected top 5 picks in the NBA Draft went straight to the G League.

As a stats junkie, it really bothers me that so many school/conference/national records will be broken next year just because of this.

It will be interesting to see if the new High School Professional League is going to take a number of the one-and-dones as well.

These people graduated from High School. Why would this be the High School Professional League any more so than a minor league baseball team would be?

The HS Professional League is for kids 16-18 who still have eligibility. They obviously would be forfeiting any of their remaining eligibility including college.

Oh, interesting. I didn't realize there was a new league launching. My bad. I thought you were calling the G League the High School Professional League.

I'm hoping this and other alternative avenues are successful so that these kids have options. Not every kid is built for college and it would be nice if it's not their only option.

I saw the title of this thread and thought it was going to be about the Saturday morning pickup games at the old Athens MS gym with OCF and Alan and the occasional guest appearances from SBH.

Including C. Mast and her record.
