Play him.

And I’m not just saying this because of his play against the two community colleges on our schedule.

We have to see what we have here moving forward. Boals has to get him at least 10-15 minutes per game. What do we have to lose?

Agreed 100%. I admit my basketball IQ is limited, but I would love to see a lineup of Kuany, Simons, Hadaway, Kelly and Pavs. That gives us scoring, length and athleticism. Someone who understands basketball more than I please tell me why that wouldn't work.

The answer is basketball games. I have no idea if Boals' job is actually at risk after this season given his contract situation. But if there's even a hint of risk, Boals is gonna play the guys he thinks give him the best chance to win games, and not develop guys for the future.

I assume Kuany and Hadaway play the same position and same style. Not sure we can have just one ball handler on the court with the above lineup. But, then on the other hand, why not try it for a full 5 minutes of game time.....

If that is true then Hadaway needs TO STOP HANDLING THE BALL! Dude has forgotten the paint. Boals was a very good post player who played with a legendary post player but under him I can think of only DW3 who was a true post. BVP, AJC, Captain Chaos...the list is full of skinny dudes who have dashes of inside game but who want to be Joker. Boals has to go.

I just hope Kuany sees he is set to fully step in for Hadaway next year and comes back ready to go.

The irony is how Boals currently manages roster, is doing a disservice to his W’s and L’s. Boals isn’t Larscheid‘s guy. I think a coach’s job is always at risk when he/she isn’t the AD’s hire. Especially if a program is underperforming. Time will tell.
