Shockingly, we are only 3.5-point underdogs per ESPN.

LMU's best wins are over Troy (currently 118 KenPom), and UCSB (135 KenPom). Troy beat Kent State, San Diego State, and lost to USC in 3OT. But lost to Toledo.

I'm gonna keep betting against us until Vegas catches up.

Paraphrasing a poster in another thread, I'm old enough to remember when we played the "real Loyola" (that's the one in Chicago) and sometimes beat them. I'm going to be watching this one at berniebobcat's place. I'm in SLO visiting my daughter for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I'm not expecting a win. I hope that the Bobcats surprise me. Go OHIO!

How has this line dropped two points from 5.5 to 3.5?

Something fishy is going on here.

The sharps are on OHIO.

The only redeeming feature for OCF is that the weather will be nicer here but the result will likely be the same.

Someone do the the math for me. If you bet $100 against Ohio every game from last November 1 to today, how much profit would you have in your pocket? Vegas just refuses to downgrade us.

Maybe there's a "." in there that isn't supposed to be there.

The noticeably outsize us everywhere. Two easy sky hooks for them in the paint.

Breath was not a good foul shooter at UNCG (48%, 49%, 68% in his 3 years). So the expectations for this year were not high. But 3-12 (25%) coming into today's game?

No more threes, Javan. If you're going to airball from wide ass open.

How about our "shooter" shooting an airball on a wide open 3?

And Kuany is in street clothes. Boals going back to smaller lineups rather than increasing minutes for Breath/Hadaway/Simmons.

We used Evans at the four some yesterday. We'll see.

Two Ohio starters came into the game hitting 30% (Elliot) and 34% (Conners) from the field. These two Ohio starters are a combined 0 for 7 today. Ouch

LMU getting good shots, not making. Good for Ohio. May not portend well for second half.

If Boals can go with Simmons and Evans on the court at the same for a few minutes last night and again during the first half today, why not Simmons and Breath on the court at the same time?

Been beating this drum. Seems like a one-for-one sub for whatever reason. Might be just stubbornness because I don’t think they’ve shared court time yet this season. I hope Breath is ok.

Looks like we’ve seen the last of Breath. Looked bad with knee. So glad Evans has been developed and ready to step up (sarcasm).

LMU shoots 1-50 from three in the first half and down only one.

Tough watch.

There has to be a new term for "shooting guard" when it comes to Ohio basketball. Conners and Sheldon are a combined 1-9 from the floor, including 1-7 from 3. Our two "shooting guards" came into the game shooting 30% and 34%.

Conners has been an absolute disaster. He hasn’t made a shot since lighting up Ohio for 30 points for App State in the Convo last year.

Glad that Boals seems to have at least impressed upon our wings that they need to take 3s. Elliott's attempts are up the last couple of games, even if the shots aren't going in. And Kelly has been less timid, too.

Offense gets very stagnant when we don't take open looks.

My son overheard from another room when I said that "Boals never draws up a good out of bounds play" when he called time out with 5 seconds left in the first half. He later asked me how it went and I told him that his play resulted in 2 points. Unfortunately, it was for the other team.
