DeVon Washington
Ricardo Johnson
Nick Kellogg
Elmore James

Several not so distant Bobcats that I thought would have looked awfully good in shoulder pads.

You had Gates from Kent. There have been a lot of rugby players get tryouts over the years. Some have made practice rosters lately. Heck even Andre the Giant was offered to play during his life. Once remember a football coach being asked why is hard to find TE and DE. He said they were all playing basketball now. Might see more get a look.

Granger didn't play either high school or college football. I know there have been a handful of players who didn't play college football, but I was trying to think of examples of guys with no football experience. Who are the rugby players?

I know Washington had a player named Sammis Reyes as a TE but not sure where he is now if with any team. I do believe they had a DE also of Nigerian decent but the name escapes me now. There have been a few, it is a long shot but the teams do look.

Clemson's Ian Schieffelin 6'8" 225 used up all his eligibility from basketball and is taking a grad year to play football.

There has been 10 or more to actually play in the NFL who never played College and a few didn’t play HS. I know 3 who never played but went to camps on UDFA contracts. It happens.

Ah, okay. So "Happens quite often actually" means that 3 out of 30,000 NFL players in history didn't play high school football.

It’s a relative term, meaning g it happens more than some people think. Just like you didn’t think it happened. It must be wonderful always being in such a good mood and constantly argumentative. Literally 5-6 folks comment backing up my comment giving you examples, yet you just get infatuated with me. Have a nice day.
