Easy call! Great facility, great hosts, and Columbus no longer wants the tournaments.

Was just talking to my brothers about this. Love the idea of UD, but also thought it might be kind of cool to see it rotate around the state.

Availibility and finances would be a big hurdle. Unlike MAC schools, Dayton has an actual arena staff. They have a committment to bring events into town. None of the other arena's show any real interest. Take this past weekend, with OHIO playing in the NCAA tournament there would be no way there is enough staff available to run an event of that size.

+1. The staff it took for us at the Schott to put on the State Tournament was nothing short of incredible. And god only knows how many other departments would want to get their hands on the cash cow known as state tournament (bet they would charge $20 for an RV) and knowing that RV's do come down for the weekend, good luck finding a place to house them, unless the fairgrounds actually wised up and wanted to get in on the parking game and make some cash on non-fair days.

Yeah I'll give you that. Really the only other viable option would be Cleveland. I would suggest Cincinnati but USBank Arena is a dump and I don't think Cintas or 5/3 are big enough/staff issues.
