Denver may be the worst. It's almost in Nebraska.
Denver’s airport also has a demonic-looking blue horse statue with glowing eyes that creeps me out every time I fly there. Nice town, but no thank you to that airport.

Keeping it real, I thought UCSB was a tougher matchup for us. Creighton really doesn't scare me much. Their fans looking down their nose at mid-majors is a wonderful example of lacking self-awareness.

They are significantly more cocky than the Virginia fans were, which is hilarious because I can count on my hands how many years it’s been since they were a mid-major themselves... And while they may have “moved up” to the Big East I am feeling pretty good about our Sweet 16 run compared to their storied history of 2nd round loses.

I think his skill set would have worked well with this team. He probably made the right choice at the time given a realistic time frame for a rebuild.

How is it that the Ohio/Creighton game has become the priciest ticket of 2nd round? I get Hinkle games will trend higher. But you can get Kansas/USC game tickets in Hinkle for almost 1/2 cost of OUr game. Crazy. Hope that means a ton of Ohio fans are going.

Could be wrong, but I doubt we have Wilson if Carter stayed....but not sure.

Ohio is by far the closest school playing in Hinkle. Creighton is the 3rd closest (after Kansas). It's the only matchup between schools in relatively easy driving distance.

They are a very balanced team with high level talent across the board. They are not huge in height, but have good athleticism.

They have five players in double figures. They shoot the ball well and have a very solid defensive FG%.

They are an average rebounding team and a below average FT shooting team. They've got a few guys who are good FT shooters, but others who are in the 50%s.

Zegarowski is their leader. He was on some All-American lists last year, and was a pre-season All-American this season.

They take care of the ball...with an excellent assist to turnover ratio.

McDermott is a very experienced and respected coach and he has an experienced staff.

It will be a very difficult test for the Bobcats, but I think the Cats have a chance to pull the upset if we play smart defense on their threes and if we hit a decent percentage ourselves from three.
