Yeah, I thought they should've given Ohio at least a 30-second shout-out, especially since they had no halftime discussion about the game. It was the Atlanta crew who spent an inordinate amount of time and tone on the VCU situation. The NY crew (Gumble, et al.) spoke seriously about it for a few minutes but they also did a lot of highlights and were overall upbeat about the first round games. They signed off on TBS, I think, with the celebration in the Ohio locker room. It was cool.

On a related matter, I wonder if with the connections between Tony Bennett and the OHIO program and personnel, if we might see UVA appear on some upcoming Bobcat regular season schedules. [/QUOTE]I worry that BVP and JP end up in the transfer portal in a of couple weeks and Charlottesville in the fall.

Hit CBS Sports channel and they had a whole segment on the game including Boals and Bennett press conferences. The focus was more on if the Covid issues cost UVA the game. Pete Gillen was on and he kept referring to “Ohio U”

Yeah, my Direct TV package doesn’t have it and I’m missing it. Although I can watch it in a tiny screen on the SportsMix, which is kinda hilarious. I’ve watched entire OU football amd basketball games in a tiny 4x4 box multiple times.

Just saw a blurb on TV that in Vegas 92% of the money came in on Ohio getting 7 points and 79% of the money came in on Ohio in the money line.

We've gotta beat Creighton tomorrow to silence those who make excuses. Kent lost because they didn't have Pippen. Toledo and Buffalo lost because they played OT games the night before and weren't as fresh. UVA lost because of the covid issue. BS. Kent, Toledo and Buffalo all lost because they don't have deep depth. And we played UVA's game and still beat them. If we had scored 80 on UVA I might give some credence to the covid issue. But we scored the fewest points we scored all year and still beat them. They might not have been able to practice during the layoff but most were able to workout and they had group prep through Zoom. We just out-coached them and out-played them at crunch time.

*No. 1 seed Toledo went to OT with an 8 seed (Ball State). What an obstacle that should be for a one seed.
*Kent was 22 points better with Pippen? He’s a good player but that’s just funny.
*No. 2 Buffalo had to go overtime against No. 3 Akron. They might have a slightly better case but just beat the lower seed in regulation if you’re better.
Why should they think we had an advantage? Be good enough to beat everyone you play convincingly and you won’t have to bring OT into the equation.

Virginia? We handled a similar situation as them by steamrolling in the MAC Tournament. If they didn’t handle it well as we did that’s on them.
