Williams, Mballa, Graves and Segu all played 39-42 minutes tonight. Add that to the 32-36 minutes they played last night and we might be able to wear them down.
Yeah, but how many minutes did Preston and Vander Plas log?
BVP had 39 and Preston 37 last night, so both are no worse off than those Buffalo starters. BVP has 76 in the first two games, but Preston was in for only 26 vs Kent. Plus, among the rest of our starters only McDay has logged more than 30 minutes in either of the first two games (last night). We should have fresher legs than they do by the time the second half rolls around.
Buffalo's been running an eight-man rotation with the starters putting in 30+ minutes in each of the first two games. The three subs get some minutes but little production -- 3 pts vs Fiami and 2 last night in the OT game.
BTW, what's up with our PR dept? The box score in the Ohio website's press release for last night's game carries the heading "TBA vs Toledo." The line score has TBA instead of Ohio and so does the heading for our team's box. And under technical fouls it says "TBA-None." How damn sloppy can they get.
