"contributed for 4 years" is being a bit generous, no?

If you look at the recruiting lists on here-there are 12 players listed including Clayton, it looks like we have only 1 left as of today.

Just looked at the BA recruiting chart, and I count 11 scholarships. So, that means we have two available scholarships I think.

Thanks, OU Country. Competent bigs make things so much easier at both ends of the floor. They can cover up mistakes on defense and alter the way teams attack you, as well as diversify how you can attack them. Add one of these guys to our three-point shooters...the potential is endless!

Nobody ever wants to see a young man enter their program, not feel success and then have to uproot. We cannot celebrate that. At the same time, from a purely basketball point of view, this has worked out perfectly for JB. Sounds like those guys knew exactly where they stood and I give JB kudos for that which is not always easy to do as a leader. Now the million dollar question is how do you use those two available chips? That's where being a great talent evaluator is huge. We as fans, or at least this fan, cannot project what say a Foster/Granger/Towns/White will develop into moving forward because right now I say we better have a back up plan for Wilson as I don't see one, but maybe JB does in who we have. I'd also love to address the athletic, slashing, rim protecting big issue. Again, JB will have to address whether Towns can solve any part of that puzzle moving forward as he looked totally lost when given the opportunity to play this season. In fact, while Towns looked the part and McMurray didn't, I preferred Mason in those PT decisions at this point in time. In regards to Clayton, from watching just 3-4 minutes of the video, again I thought how important it was to have a good talent evaluator as I couldn't discern anything from that as it was low level hoops, where he was the biggest/most skilled guy on the court and he appeared to be playing at 60% effort with no fundamentals. How does that project moving forward? Another stretch BVP type? But certainly you can't see him doing anything to help next year I wouldn't think? With an upper class like we have apparently ready to have a big year next year, I've got to first explore the "just add water" transfer option to see if I could find a gamechanger to put next year on steroids, then again I'm sure everyone is looking for that. A proven athletic big would be what I would order if it were that easy. But yes, I'd play to win now with at least one of those spots, if not both. Then with the second spot, I'd go best available with a preference on a 4 year guy and again--slashing, athletic big if I could be picky. But I emphasize, I'm thrilled JB has 2 spots available to play with and this is where coaches separate themselves in making these roster decisions and making those choices consistently well.

As we all know, Jeff will also need to manage the expectations of the remaining players and anticipate how anyone added will fit in with those expectations and the culture he’s established. To me that’s just as important as getting someone who is marginally better than someone else who might be available. Probably more so. From what little I know and observation from afar, Jeff strikes me as a coach who would handle this very well.

I feel the same but I'm guessing our coaching staff has seen him play for his AAU team, Ohio-All Red.

This past year, we swapped out Springs for Wilson (it got us to a next level) If we can swap out one of the transfers for a Wilson type player and contributor - that's my want.

I'd take Ogbonda on this team and the contributions he gave last year right now without hesitation. And I wouldn't change a thing about his game.

I know it's one game that I'm watching but have to echo the sentiment that he's still 2+ years away from really impacting the program. Slow in transition and doesn't like to be physical - hopefully these things can be corrected by hitting the weight room and being more confident in his play
