My son has watched a lot of Bobcat and Cincy Reds game with me over the years, especially the past 2 weekends. He mentioned to me during the MACC game that BVP, his favorite Bobcat, is the Bobcat basketball version of Joey Votto. I asked him what he meant and he said because I tend to yell at him off and on throughout a game.

I will say this: I didn't think BVP lived up to his potential this year, which I believe can be a MAC 1st teamer (not convinced he deserved 3rd team this year). But he played like a first teamer in Cleveland and again tonight. He's the best passing big man in the MAC, can hit outside and hurt you around the rim (got away from that too much during the regular season) and gets his hands on a lot of balls on defense.

80 minutes from BVP/JP is a great combination.
