Pomeroy does his analytics from what I am reading, based on equations and values he assigns?
Sagarins are based on computer analysis of records, opponent's records and opponent's opponents records.
Do I have that right?
Interesting comparisons to look at and use. I think I will try to look at those versus the NET ratings.
I believe Ken Pomeroy's are based on statisical analysis (offense, defense, rebounding, shooting weighted against strength of opponents) more than the win/loss results. Sagarin ratings only account for wins, losses and scoring margin.
