I would have bet my paycheck on Austin Carr. Turns out he averaged 40+ points per NCAA tourney game (60 against Ohio), but only played 7.

I was curious and went back through. Redick played on a lot of teams that didn't make it to the Final 4.

He wasn't really a big scoring big man. He was pretty consistent but only had 3 games of 20 or more in the tournament. Ended up with 256 which is about 14 ppg.

Pretty sure the 3pt line would not have added to Lew Alcindor or Elvin Hayes totals 😳. Look it up, but I think Kareem retired with a grand total of zero NBA 3pt makes.
