His A game is when he does all that and scores.

Not a knock. He was patient and took what UVA gave him. But even the announcers were calling for him to inject himself into the game more. He needed to back down that tiny guy they had on him a lot more.

I think he’ll have the chance to have one of those 25 point nights against Creighton to go along with all the other great stuff he does.

B is a good grade, man. D’s are bad.

There are varying degrees of A games.

Preston had his A game tonight. 13 rebs, 8 assists, 11 points w/ efficiency, and played the whole game.

Why are you yelling at people? What do you have to prove to everyone?

I’ve never met people who PLAYED BALL!!!! at a high level to be that insecure that they need to yell at people about it.

They just laugh and shake their heads and move on. But they don’t spend their time on a message board yelling at people. They’re coaching basketball teams in meaningful games.

Life and society are pretty simple: don’t act like an unhinged madman about someone commenting about the replay review of a basketball game during a bleeping global pandemic.

Did anyone see the TruTV coverage back with the studio crew after the ballgame? They legit were stone cold silent and super serious, I thought they were about to announce there had been a terrorist attack had occurred with the way they were acting... but turns out they were just talking about VCU/Oregon.

Did anyone else see that and think the tone of coverage after that thrilling OHIO upset was quite strange?

Hahaha. Guess the refs in the Texas - Abilene Christian game tried to freeze Jones after he made his first FT by cleaning up blood on the court that took 2 minutes.

so by your logic when it was a two point game the .7 seconds were not an issue. poor officiating. no excuse. they are human and made a mistake. should have addressed the issue before the first shot and certainly before going to the line for the second. If you ever played at the convo you would know that we should expect better game management from the refs especially during the tournament. but they are human. simply mishandled the issue. Were they "trying" to freeze the shooter? Of course not - but they mismanaged the situation.

Thanks for the research. Yes, that list is impressive. I knew some of those. I guess in the heat of the moment and my victory delirium I misspoke -- UVA is the only ACC team we have a winning record against.

On a related matter, I wonder if with the connections between Tony Bennett and the OHIO program and personnel, if we might see UVA appear on some upcoming Bobcat regular season schedules.
