Good win, Bolden got them together at half. Gotta do better than 3 total assists and 4 bench points going forward though. Although she didn't shoot great overall, it sounded like Erica hit some tough shots and the Flames had no answer for her. I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do against ND.
I have been wondering what the schedule might look like next year. Most of the P6 schools the women have played end up home and home. We know that Syracuse and Ohio St. are coming to Athens next year. I have to believe that we will travel to Notre Dame and Liberty (who will probably be the best team in the ASUN) next year. Pitt and Butler were at the Daytona Beach classic last year so that was probably the only game in that series. We don't know if we get a return trip from TCU and Texas at some point. There will probably be some easier games, however on the road, against NCA&T, Chattanooga, and Marshall. If recent patterns continue there will also be a tough road game at IUPUI.
Two four year starters in Burris and Hooks will graduate and the schedule could be absolutely brutal. In order to be up to it, we'll need to get a lot more scoring out of Kroll and Beck, plus at least one of probably Guice, Hale, or Mace will need to really step up. Burris plays close to forty minutes a game and another big, probably Garnett, is going to have a lot more minutes and maybe start. We have seen no minutes from the other bigs. Antonova because of injuries or Pope because of her mission. Without that there is going to be a lot of non-conference losses if the schedule is as tough as last year.
