Covers a lot of topics ranging from “deal breakers” with regard to student/athlete’s actions, to how practices are run specifically to foster competition, to how plays are run (or not run) during the game plus many others. Neat to get a peek inside how the program is run.

One side note, does anyone know who the top level transfer that we were close to getting but, passed on because he wasn’t a good fit from a team chemistry/basketball culture aspect?

FearLeon, If he did, I don’t recall, but he did talk about how some players do have goals of playing professionally here or overseas and that those guys need to become a professionals professional both on and off the court, if you will. Conversely, not all players realistically can have that same goal so, for them, having that college degree is paramount.

I have no idea who that could be, but while they were on the topic, he mentioned that three returning players were 99% of the academic problems (missing class, late to tutors) including one of the best returning players, and all three were quickly gone. I can't imagine Jason Carter being one of those guys, so I'm guessing they were Teyvion Kirk, Antonio Cowert, and Torey James.
