TOS to Winthrop...

As soon as Kelsey moves to Charleston. I liked our trip to Charleston and got to take a tour of facilities. He will do well there ....not sure if Greg Marshall applies to Winthrop...

Surprised about Krueger drifting off into the sunset. Had pretty good success over the course. FLA, ILL, UNLV, the other OU.

And as an aside Jordan Mincy of Kent fame hitched his wagon to Mike WHite before White moved to FL....paid off as Mincy was name HC at JAX. https://judolphins.com/sports/mens-basketball

Lots of moves.

Mark Turgeon rumored as a candidate to replace Kruger. Majority of Maryland fans would love to see this happen.

Carousel is fascinating this year. All the spots that held on last year with the shutdown are coming open.

Of NOTE>

Mike Woodson ....former player back to IU. I think I remember him as a soph on tthat 76 undefeated team...definitely with Isiah. Never coached college ball...so he hired Matta if insiders are right. That will help. SHould probably pick up Matta's best recruiter ever from Butler, X and tO$U days to round it out and lock down the in state recruiting.

Jordan Mincy....Kent State guy most here remember hitched his wagon to Mike White at FL and is rewarded with a HC spot at JAX. Yes that JAX...home of the A train and the FF team from those years.

Smart from TX to Marquette will be a good move home.

Carousel is spinnin

Neither Woodson nor I. Thomas played on IU's 1975-76 undefeated team.

Correct, Woodson came the year after the undefeated season and was a Senior in Isaiah's Freshman year.

Semi-relevant trivia question: Anyone remember what team ended the Indiana winning streak the year following the undefeated championship season? Asking for BTC's friend. You know, the one who is always so curious.

Probably a mid-major whose donors and administration finally decided, the off-season prior, to step up their money to become "big time". After much consternation about scheduling the HC decided to "schedule up some big boys" and put an undefeated IU on the calendar. They fully expected a loss but hoped to be able to sit down with the "big time" HC to pick his brain about what he should have done differently so he could finally learn how to win those darn games.

Am I close? 😇

Toledo unveiling the opening of Centennial Hall? I believe the Rockets also beat Marquette in the opening game of the season following their national championship a year later. The late Coach Bobby Nichols was quite the coach back in the day. Harvey Knuckels might have been on both of those teams? Few younger MAC fans, including most young Rocket fans have no idea of how good they were back in the day.

Bingo! It was our MAC brethren up in Jeep City. I was at Murray State at the time, and I remember it was big news and made headlines in the Bluegrass State just slightly smaller than those reserved for blue blood horses and UK basketball.

When we played them during the Dale Bandy years, they were simply on another level.
