I must admit the thought crossed my mind when i heard JC was entering the portal.

I cant fathom theres a 5% chance of it happening but it was an interesting thought.

Has anyone ever in the history of NCAA sports transferred away from a school, played for a different school, then transferred back to that school to play for them again? Come on, this is silly speculation.
Nailed it.

In all seriousness, I really want to know if this has EVER happened before.

You’re supposed to double down. You’re never gonna get a spot on First Take now.

I have a Giants fan friend to whom I still insist to that Eli Manning will never win a single Super Bowl. I’ve refused to lose the bet.

I am sure that it doesn't happen often. It must happen every once in a while because it happened twice in the same day. I assume Boals was involved in his original commitment to Stony Brook.

Yes but both were due to the 6 year covid rule. And graduate transfers are a more recent phenomenon in general. I genuinely would guess it has never happened before.
