It’s somewhat amazing to me, that at another halfway through Gonzaga’s game against Creighton that they’ve played a total of 7 players with the 2 bench players shooting exactly 2 shots. Here’s supposedly one of the best teams in many years and they don’t have enough of a bench to play more than 7 players in what has become a blowout. What I’m getting at is that you don’t necessarily have to have a long bench to be a good team.

Looking at their stats, they have 7 guys playing over 10 minutes a game. I guess if you have great starters you don’t need the depth, but during a long season with lots of blowouts, injuries etc you’d think they’d have more than 7.
If you take the Zags' 2nd five and put them in the MAC I would bet on them to win the conference.

Well they’re not playing there so they might as well go play in the MAC.

Creighton may have done the bobcats a solid by beating them. We would've been completely dominated by Gonzaga from start to finish

The pub and cred from beating the Jays and another Big East program would have far outweighed the drubbing

UCLA/Alabama headed to OT on a buzzer beater three. This game has been all over the place, including a review where the question was whether the ball grazed a player's shorts before going out of bounds.

Never count out Cronin to bone head a tournament game. Up three with 4 seconds to go and he elects not to foul with Bama shooting poorly from the line all night.

I really thought that buzzer beater would carry a lot of momentum into OT. It sure didn't. UCLA blitzed them in OT. That was some of the worst free throw shooting (Alabama) I have seen in a game this tight and on this stage. Brick city.

Seriously. I'll take a Sweet 16 beating at the hands of the future national title holder if that meant moving on to the next round and more publicity for the program and dollars for the school. 100/10 times.

I’d bet big money the players, without hesitation and to a man, would want to play again. And I’m not much into betting.

Jalen Tate, the senior leader on Arkansas' elite 8 team, reminds me of the skinny high school player I saw play a couple of times as an afterthought on a talented Pick Central team. He was a lightly recruited 2 star recruit who ended up at Northern Kentucky before moving on to Arkansas.

Baylor's the only team capable of beating Gonzaga, and they're still gonna have to bring their A-game.

And they'd better bring it for 40 minutes.

I can't see Baylor, Houston or UCLA beating Gonzaga. I honestly thought Creigton might give them a game after dominating us. Then again, I didn't think anyone would beat the 1991 Runnin Rebels. They were 34-0 when they lost to Duke in the Final Four. Stranger things have happened, but I just can't see anyone stopping Gonzaga.

Leader of the student section that everyone knew. Heard an interview with Oats the other day and see the quotes by Kenndy in there. Prayers and hopes that he is memorialized in some way. Tough situation. Stuff is so unpredictable as to who is affects and how severely . Stay safe Bobcats.

That was an incredibly high level of basketball for 45 minutes. It's cliché to say neither team deserved to lose, but it was true in this case. I had no rooting interest in the game but was on the edge of my seat and couldn't sleep after the game.

Baylor bigger, faster and stronger at every position. Suggs and Timme can hang but that's about it for Gonzaga. Rest of the squad looks like JV vs Varsity. Add Baylor shooting out of their minds and this thing is over.

Gonzaga has to play perfect, get some breaks and exert maximum effort just to get it under 10. Just not sustainable.
