Anyone know why Muncie wasn't included in the available arenas? Seems like a really logical move being only an hour away.
They are actually closer than West Lafayette with less construction traffic. Only about 45 mins going out the same road as the Fairgrounds and Butler from downtown. I suspect Purdue has more locker rooms and ability to give practice space and such.....plus they will tell you IU and PU are the flagship unis here.
Ball State is a host. I think they are the host for Conseco/Bankers Life. ( I have always looked in the corners of courts for years to see what local U is a sponsor/host for each venue). Ball State retweeted a story the other day regarding their participation.
