Just saw a BROD's Instagram story that shows what I assume is picture day. Looks like the Cats have new white jerseys. Couldn't get a great look at them but not sure if I like it.

New home and aways. Not a fan of either. Looks like they tried to go more modern and got rid of the traditional stripes.

I agree. I was sort of "meh" when I saw them. Maybe they'll grow on me.

I hope these are some kind of practice jerseys or something. They are downright ugly. And, since I was a kid our jerseys have always said simply "Ohio" on the front. Who the heck is in-charge? This is happening under Cromer's watch, and comes right after her brilliant contract with Albin. Something is not right in the roundhouse on Richland.

Nope. The backdrop was photo day. Those are at least SOME unis you’ll see. I didn’t think the greens were that bad. Will 100% agree I support Ohio on the front vs Bobcats.

I think that the new court was met with near universal adulation.

There are lots of Bobcats. There is only one Ohio. IMO, We should not be wearing "Bobcats" most of the time unless the uniform also says Ohio.

So are we wearing the ugly white "Bobcat" uniforms at home and the beautiful green "OHIO" uniforms on the road? I'd donate to a fund to burn the former and get new white uniforms with OHIO emblazoned on them. Just some friendly constructive criticism.

We have given up on branding years ago when we fail to enforce the banding catalog that was created and adopted. But to answer your question? When I am watching OHIO play Virginia, Kentucky, LSU, the only thing I give a shit about is did we compete? win? Thats all that matters to me.

I don't like using the mascot on basketball uniforms unless you have a truly unique mascot. So in the MAC, that's pretty much just Akron, Kent, Central, and maybe Toledo.
