Sounds like an EMU crowd. That might be about all their gym holds, despite the renovations in 2018 and the new paint job (according to their website).

Edit: Just checked. Their biggest home crowd two years ago was 400. They also played a Christmas break exhibition at EMU in 2019. That was a huge crowd by EMU standards (1171).

Hey, every team needs a gimme on the schedule. As Boals has alluded to, it's hard to put a schedule together when you're a good mid-major because nobody wants to play you and for sure not at home. So I get this game since it's the only one like it on the schedule.

But from all accounts, they aren't even a good NAIA team (They're in the mighty WHAC conference - Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference - for all you curious).

Maybe this game and Capital should have been switched around?

If any of our top 6 are playing after the first 4 minutes of the 2nd half, something has gone very VERY wrong IMO.

I heard Marty say during the MSM game there was no webcast, but ESPN still has it on their ESPN3 schedule. I guess if there’s one not to broadcast this would be it…

I want the starters to start and play and work on some things. Team rebounding. BRods outside shot. Sears hitting pull up jumpers. Maybe mix and match some different bench lineups in to see how they work.

This game should be all about preparing for LSU.

But yes, with a win securely in hand the bench should get most/all the run in the second half IMO

Like you I question this same point. Someone or some organization has it wrong. According to Marty there is radio for this game. Is it possible that the game will be on ESPN3 with the radio announcer doing the play by play? I for 1 hope so.
I for 1 believe, for ranking sake, we win by more than 20.

You can't always trust what ESPN has posted on its schedules. All fall they had our football game with Toledo scheduled for ESPN2. Then the week before the game they flipped us to ESPN+. I don't think it was a last-minute change; it was probably just a typo.
This. Per “Bobcats News & Notes”, and here (BA) of course, the game is NOT on ESPN3 or ESPN+. Per the ESPN guide it IS on ESPN3. My uninformed view is that probably the former is correct just because I’m more confident that we are more likely to be accurate when it comes to our own situation. I’ll try it though anyway and hope my assumption is incorrect.

With Russ and maybe Rob in BG for the football game today and with the university shut down for the weekend, don't bet on TV for the b-ball game.

Given the preseason MAC polls and the way the Syracuse game went, we were already considered a middling MAC team before the Duquesne game. Still, we went off as a 29 point favorite. It might have been the worst loss the program has taken in decades and decades.

There is no line on a non D1 game. Given OUr performance so far and theirs and where they have been in recent years if I had to guess we would be a little more than a 40 point favorite against Concordia.

I think that Duquesne would have been viewed as a 50:1 shot. This one is probably close to 500:1.

Wilmington College did defeat Fiami a few years back.

The realm of reality tells me that Concordia would match up well with the OUC Hilltoppers.

This seems to be a great tune-up game before LSU.

I’m watching on ESPN3. No sound right now. Maybe it will be that way the entire game.
