BVP and Carter in particular, and rest of team/coaching staff deserve a hearty welcome back to the Convo after their effort at Rupp. And some good home cookin' before Thanksgiving break weekend and likely small crowd for Concordia Friday game before they head to LSU for another pre-MAC OOC high profile game.

What do we know about MSM? Crushed by 'Nova, beaten handily by St. Joseph, 25 point loss @ Rupp but an OT win over Bobby Mo. I'd like to see us hit the boards hard and shoot the three well. Would be nice if the fans keep coming.

Tournament team last year that lost its top two scorers to transfer. Strange that neither of those guys moved "up". One went to Jacksonville State and the other to IPFW.

They essentially start three guys with power forward bodies, so this is an opportunity to work on evening out the rebounding margin woes we saw at Kentucky. They're kind of a Kent State style team. They shoot way, way more 2s than 3s, They get to the line about 20 times a game, and they force around 18 fouls a game. Looks like they can be turned over quite a bit. They average about 12 a game and committed 18 against RMU, compared to 10 for us against the same.

Wouldn't you say that three starters with power forward bodies > two starters with power forward bodies when considering rebounding advantages? Asking for a friend.

Then again, MSM starters will not be the quality of the UK starters.

Those three together average about what Tsheibwe (sp?) averages by himself. Individually, none are exceptional. We were dominated in that department in the last game and MSM's collective personnel suggests there's another challenge there tonight. Will we respond?

This is a game we should/need to win. But, I don't know about a line of -15. They're going to test our rebounding again. They beat Bobby Mo and played UK about as well as we did. Tourney team that won't be intimidated by us. I see a tough fought 5-10 point win instead.

Would love to be wrong and see us get a blowout and the bench get some run.

I honestly don’t understand how it’s this bad. I occasionally turn on some very random small school games for background viewing or while on the treadmill. Two d2 schools I watched on ESPN+ earlier had audio so much better than this.

It's not just the volume differential, its the whole production quality. the last time was nothing but static. This time, not as much static, but just a 1992 actv-7 grade sound production. no sound from the arena, and crew sound like they're on a phone somewhere in Siberia.

And now that I've spoken, more static.
