The location of this event (KSBar & Grille) is no where near Rupp Arena. It's about a half-an-hour walk away. I was registered, but I think I'll pass now.

I plan on hitting the KSBar & Grille around 1 or 2. It does look like a 1-mile walk to Rupp from there. A UK season ticket holder I know tells me there is a lot of construction around Rupp so parking is more scarce than usual. I may get to Rupp early, park and Uber back and forth to KSBar.

I've also messaged them on Facebook for recommendation. They said they have a huge parking lot and recommended parking there and taking Uber to the game. Given parking prices around Rupp, this may be cost-effective as well.

Yep, they brought the shuttle in from Detroit for just this one game.

Well, I had to miss the bash due to later than planned getting to hotel downtown and the distance of the bash from the arena. However, was pleased to run into Treg Setty on walk from hotel to Rupp and have nice long chat with him. He is doing well, lives in Lexington now.

Same thing happened here. We got stuck in traffic coming into Lexington. Fortunately got to see lots of Bobcats around the arena.

That's great to hear. Hopefully he's able to make it up to campus sometime this year.
