Can someone translate this coach speak for me? I don't understand the analogy of a baseball utility infielder and the game of basketball. Does this mean he's going to play both forward and center?

"After my press conference, I met with him and we talked. Basically I said, 'Hey look. We're going to win here if you're here or not. I want to coach you, but I want you to have two feet in. If you have one foot in and one foot out, then leave.'
With what we have coming back, his skill set, the way he can play, his size, the positions he can guard, he's really going to be like a utility infielder. He'll play multiple positions and do different things for us. To have a guy with his experience, you don't really get that too often. The fact that he's been here before and knows this place and has a comfort level here, I think he's really going to help us."
