I just saw this on AJ's bio for the 2021-22 season. I hadn't heard this before. Did any of you?

"a four-star recruit, is ranked the 43rd best power forward in the country and the eighth best player in the state of Ohio on the ESPN 2022 List...This past season, averaged 23.6 points and 13.6 rebounds per game".

247 shows 3*, VC 2*. That said, he's more highly ranked than I realized.

You guys realize though (unless I missed something), he has graduated and is NOT in a class of 2022, but rather 2021. So that shows you how on top of things these rating services are.

I'm with you -- they also don't have a couple of guys Ohio has signed NLI's from either. Defintely can't take it as gospel, but they seem to have him rated highly in terms of talent, which is a plus.

I have seen him play for his high school team in a pretty good league for school size. He's a real stud, but he has to do everything. The number of games they won and talent he's with is like watching the Hamilton Twp Gary Trent teams. AJ and 9 plumbers.

I think that Rufus Peoples would like to have a word with you about his basketball ability. Just kidding, I "played" (sat the bench) against Gary in High School and wanted to thank you for bringing back those memories.
