Nothing new that I've heard, other than that McDay was not present at Stetson. We would be extremely lucky to get Wilson back in January or February but don't want to rush recovery on a torn ACL. Sucks our guard depth is lacking now with the losses of Wilson and McDay. We need them desperately.

I think I would start planning on not having either, and just hoping we do have them next year. We're out of the at large conversation unless we pull an 18-2 MAC season or something (I have no idea how many games in conference anymore). Gel by February and roll into March hot. We know the drill.

I understand why people say we will miss Lundo. He is a glue guy who played outstanding defense, was a good teammate and just brought an air of coolness to the floor for our squad. He would certainly add guard depth. But...we have the best point guard in the league. We have a 2-guard in Miles Brown who scored 2,000-plus points in high school and plays just as good of defense as Lundo. We have an experienced point guard backup who, while smaller, has shown that he belongs in Division I basketball. We also have a guy who, while shooting 17 percent from 3, is perfectly capable of stepping into that guard role and producing. Once again, I'm not debating the idea that depth would be improved with Lundo, I'm just saying that it's not like it used to be when a starter went down and our only other wing was Khari Harley.

As for DW3, we miss him IMMENSELY! Carter and BVP are holding down the fort and Ezuma looks like a banger. Clayton is not ready to play inside but has been a very refreshing big wing who can occasionally go inside. We need Dwight back to bang and allow Carter and BVP to rest and relax.
