I'm not sure if the freshmen are ready and I'm not as high on Towns as others on here. However, I thought Towns had his best minutes of the year, if not career, in the first half v. St. Francis. And then to see little, if any, second half minutes puzzles me.

So anyway...

Got a little outside our game with the turnovers and fouls. I think SF played one of their better games. Escape and advance.

Sears was awesome at scoring and bailed us out. He also had WAYYY too many turnovers that largely contributed to letting them hang around. He is currently really close to a 1/1 assist to turnover. His primary goal should be to flip that to about 3/1 over the next couple years. I've made the point before, but he is the opposite of Preston in a lot of ways. Jason was an elite distributor and had to build his scoring game.

To that point, Schmock had 6 assists and 0 turnovers. If Lunden stays away and Roderick struggles, I wonder if we will see more of Schmock & Sears on the court at the same time going forward.

Hope we can survive at Stetson and meet Marshall at 7-2.
