Is anyone going to the Kentucky game? I may go because Ft Lauderdale has a great direct flight deal to Lexington on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Also, I will probably drive up for the Stetson game. Would love to hang with some fellow Bobcats at both!

Be careful using Allegiant. If the flight gets cancelled, they won't put you on another airline's flight. You will simply be stuck with ballgame tickets and a hotel reservation.

Not all airlines have rebooking agreements. Southwest is the same.

It looks like single game tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster a week ago today. Did anyone get their hands on tickets or were they mainly grabbed by UK fans? It looks like there are a few left through Ticketmaster, but I'm sure the rest will come from the resale market.

You are correct. American/United/Delta and maybe a few others like Alaska Air have ticket/baggage agreements. JetBlue Airways and American Airlines launched a partnership earlier this year allowing each carrier to sell one another’s flights but it's in limbo due to justice department litigation.

So, you can fly on let's say American from Columbus to Dallas and connect to a Delta flight the rest of the way to (for example) San Diego. But you can't do part of the trip on Southwest due to no baggage/ticket agreement.

I was flying Alaska and I opted for some less-convenient itineraries in order to avoid having a leg of the return flight on American. I want no part of them.

Ziegler-Not knowing what you are looking to spend or where you are wanting to sit, it looks as if there are only a few seats left directly through Ticketmaster. Everything else is classified as "Verified Resale" which is essentially buying from a scalper but safely and securely through Ticketmaster.

I just checked and in Section 241 there are two open rows at $40 a ticket. You can spend a little bit more and get yourself closer if you'd like. I've purchased Verified Resale tickets plenty of times if that's the way you decide to go.
