I can't help but wonder why Boals refuses to play certain combos together: Simmons/Breath; Breath/Evans; Hadaway/Kuany. I find it hard to imagine there hasn't been a situation this season where it might have been in Ohio's best interest to give one of these combos some minutes. If for no other reason than to see what the pair can do together.

I thought it was odd that he did not call one timeout tonight. Ended the game with three and didn't use the fourth "use it or lose it" timeout in the first half. There seemed to be a couple of occasions where a timeout was warrented.

I thought she was pretty good. Later I looked her up. She referees NCAA games and started in NBA in 2021. She can't be all that bad.

I corrected your stats above. Those of you who continue to question Sheldon's minutes I'm guessing didn't play ball beyond 5th grade. I totally get why Boals plays him 30+ minutes per game.

I have certainly been critical of Dior earlier this season, but after this game and the UMass game I am squarely in the camp that Boals’ leash with him is shorter than it should be. His stroke looks smooth when he shoots in rhythm, and today he had several nice assists or would-be assists within the flow of the offense. He just looks the part more than Sheldon both as a shooter and ball-handler.

Terrible game awareness and discipline by the seniors late in the game. We are short handled and we get t-d up twice. Boals has lost control of this team. Way too many Tech fouls. We are a bunch of undisciplined cry babies. A terrible look. Every game we get t-d up or some scuffle goes down. These guys have fire, but pick bad times to come undone. Refs have to think we are a team of headcases. Time for the seniors to lead this team.
