Mid-Major Madness also showing praise for Bethune-Cookman this year. Went 13-5 in conference play last season. Even for what should be an easy home game for us, you love to see it.

Don't sell Bethune-Cookman short. They have a load of transfers, as you might expect, but several of them were very productive at their previous stops. Overall, there are 15 juniors& seniors on the roster and Reggie Theus is the head coach. If they can get any kind of chemistry, they will be dangerous.

Bethune-Cookman's Reggie Theus must have an abuse kink or something because he has his team playing Miami (Fl), Auburn, Missouri, Dayton, Oklahoma State, Indiana, St Louis and us (at our place). Maybe he gets a cut of the payout or something?

Hell of a schedule.

I haven't looked at the roster, but maybe that was part of the recruiting draw? Come here and take your best shot vs some of the top teams from damn near every conference. Get some good tape vs Miami and maybe you could play for them next season type of thing.

Season basketball kickoff, Monday November 3rd Arkansas State

Football vs Miami Tuesday November 4th.

Time to plan for a night or two in Athens; again.

Saw Coach Boals at the football game in Cbus. Says that even though the basketball exhibition is at Ohio State, our athletic department will sell tickets and keep proceeds. He says details should be announced shortly.

I understand one game against a non-D One school....but not two. Oh well.....Boals knows there were no gimmes on the non-con schedule before the two cupcakes were scheduled. I get it...but not thrilled.
