Hopefully we can come out of Western Michigan 1-0 in the MAC. We are currently 14 pointt favorites as the away team. Also am hoping we aren't too rusty with 11 days rest.

I can't remember ever winning comfortably in Kalamazoo. For some reason it always seems like it's a foul fest at Western. A house of horrors. Time to change that.

Oddly enough, WMU's average scoring margin for the season is -14 (65.5 points for, 79.5 against). Coincidence?

Statistically, WMU is in the bottom third of D1 in every category except one -- made threes. They're tied for 171st. It's only their second home game vs a D1 opponent. They lost by 11 to Valpo at home early last month. They lost by 27 at Toledo Wednesday, FWIW. Still, we always seem to have trouble with them.

It'll be good just to get this one in -- 42 games, including two MAC games, called off today because of covid.

What's the best way to listen to Russ & Rob these days? Using Ohio Radio through ohiobobcats.com > Live events buffers/stutters on every single platform I try listening through (computer, phone, tablet). Previously in 2015-2016 they were on Tunein and it was next to flawless, no buffering etc.

My ESPN has been solid both in the home internet feed, on the Roku TV and on the phones in the car (as a passenger) between Muncie and Delaware, Oh.

Is your ESPN buffering on all your devices?

Not pretty but a W on the road in the MAC is always big. Didn't have a long drought after building a big lead, as has happened in some other games. Also good to see the team get weaned off the three when it wasn't working; still put up a lot (22) but got 40 pts in the paint, which we don't often see.

No problems at all for me using ESPN apps. It's been good.

Yet another game where we the opponent outshoots us from outside but we dominate the turnover battle, commit less fouls and survive the rebounding battle to come away with a comfortable victory. If I had the time I'd go back and see how many victories we've had that fit this description.

Coaching matters. If some other head coaches in the league were leading Ohio right now, I don't think we'd be 10-2.
