D1 Docket says we host Mt St. Mary's on Monday 11/22. I imagine the game at UK will be sometime between 11/13 and 11/22 as Kentucky opens the season against Duke in the Champions Classic on the 9th, hosts RMU on the 12th, and we're at CSU on the 13th.

So…JP declares he’s staying in the draft, then Kentucky is announced. Coincidence? I think not. ;)

No...the Kentucky game has been arranged for a few weeks now.

Shucks! Here I thought I had uncovered a rock-solid conspiracy.

Someone on the MAC board said we will host Rider, but I can't confirm that anywhere else.

On the MAC scheduling board that someone provided earlier in this thread, it lists Buffalo as having the game with Rider so, he may have just crossed his wires…

So are we out of luck from playing in a 3 day pre-season tournament somewhere like we did in Charleston and Myrtle Beach in recent years? The Kentucky tournament is only one game in Lexington and the other two games at home correct? Seems odd that we couldn't get into a 3 day tournament like this again especially coming off NCAA Tourney year.

According to D1 Docket - As of June 16

Ohio:

Nov 13 @ Cleveland State (return game from last season)

Dec 1 @ LSU

MAC Notes - Notable Games:

Buffalo: @ Cancun Challenge
Kent State: @ WVU
Toledo: @ Bahamas Event, @ Mich State
BGSU: Fort Myers Tip-Off (Ohio St also in the field)
LSU lost quite a bit but got two good transfers and the #7 recruiting class.

Playing them early before they solidify is the best case scenario, as playing they late in the season would be bad. They will be a beast by then.

Given that getting in those tournaments often requires it being schedule more than a year in advance, I'd say yes. Those tournaments usually announce their field for the next year during their tournaments, or shortly afterward. The Charleston Classic usually does anyway.

Makes sense. Bummer that it couldn't happen this year or at least right now appears to be that way.

Very weird. The entire MAC schedule must already be known somewhere because Western Michigan's conference schedule is up on D1 docket.

Ohio @ WMU New Year's Day
WMU @ Ohio Saturday 2/5

I've never understood why the MAC doesn't release the conference schedule as soon as it's known who is playing when and where. Fill in the TV/streaming games later down the road.

With games at LSU and Kentucky, two teams that could definitely be ripe for a picking or two......

85 teams have released their non conference schedule, many with more games than we will play out of conference. My guess is the whole schedule is already known, but the school will make an announcement when they are ready to announce to conference schedule as well, which as I noted before with WMU's conference schedule on D1 Docket, is also already known.

Woof. WMU released their non conference schedule. Only four home games, and three are against non-D1 teams.

Ha...I know.

I'm trying to be patient.

Only good thing about this process is that in Athens we know it doesn't get released at the earliest until after September 1st.

Ugh.

Did the MAC do away with it's RPI boosting scheduling bonuses related to NCAA Tournament conference payouts?

...

Maybe it is the fact that I have limited patience, but it feels like we're always the last team to release our schedule. Very weird some teams have already released MAC schedules...

There will be at least one solid non-conference home game in the MAC this year. Cincy will visit Millett Hall.

MB was the same way a few years ago. The final day we were there they flashed the teams that would be participating next year on a screen.
