Hope we use this game as a frustration game of sorts after Toledo. Clayton should be back for this one I assume.

Funny thing I might add - NIU consulted the services of a professional motivational speaker this year according to their Instagram... would be some pretty funny dirt to chant / taunt them about Tuesday.

I really wish we were on the road. The convo is going to seem sad after Saturdays crowd.

Pretty accurate interpretation of many MAC teams this season (NIU, WMU & CMU especially)

After Saturday's game result I will be interested to watch the following;
1) our body language
2) the intensity we bring to our play, don't start off slowly
3) our D effort
4) do we change anything to our offense ie less 3's more in the paint offense

I am confident we will play to win this game.

I'll add 1 more to 71 Bobcat's list:

Will NIU's Zool Kueth remain hot from the 3 pt line in the Convo? He had almost as many 3 FGM last winter v. Ohio than he has this entire season.

If we had lost on Saturday I'd be more concerned about the team coming back on Tuesday but they've had an extra day to put it behind them, so I think they'll be ok.

NIU is an interesting mix of all offense and no defense since MAC play started. They're averaging 74 pts a game on offense but they're giving up 80 a game. They're hitting 47% of their FGs (second in the MAC) and 41% of their threes (leading the MAC). But they're also dead last in both opponents' FG percentage (49.3) and three-pt FG percentage (41.9). We'll need to shoot a lot better from three than we did against Toledo (27%) to win this one.

Given our lack of putting teams away those 17.5 points are enticing.

Seeing some huge lines in the MAC this year, definitely a lot more disparity than normal.

Not saying he needs to have the night off but depending on how tonight goes, I'm fine with limited minutes. Would really like to see IJ get 15+ tonight.

A whole night off for severe cramping is probably erroring on the super safe side.

I think this was a one off instance but something to keep an eye on.

I'm sure the training staff has had the hydration talk with him. Speaking from experience, it sucks to have to force yourself to drink enough water to prevent these types of cramps.

Is anyone else having horrible audio on espn+? Compared to every other broadcast I watch we have the worst audio out of any of them and I’m not sure why.

Yeah the audio is garbage tonight.

But Ben Vander Plas just had an amazing steal and behind the back pass as he was going out of bounds. Unreal play.

idk why but ESPN+ more often than not sounds like a 50's recording, and it's only at the Convo. It's probably our equipment if I were to guess.

Top notch broadcast journalism school and we can't get an XLR cord that doesn't produce static. It's honestly embarrassing after all these years, they still can't get these espn3 broadcasts ironed out
