I was astonished to discover that this extremely popular thread on the football forum, in which everyone opines his or her favorite dis of Miami, has never been present on the basketball side. I did several searches and could not discover that we'd ever had a thread devoted to Miami's manifold shortcomings here.  So, I consider it my civic Bobcat duty to correct this glaring error in this Miami Sucks Week. wink

 

Here's one to start things off:  Miami has been on the wrong side of almost everything.  In the late Rebellion Miami had more alumni in the Confederate Army than the Union Army, while Ohio had more men in Union blue than any other college in the Buckeye State.  Athens County went overwhelmingly for Lincoln (62%) in 1860.  Butler County voted even more overwhelmingly for Douglas (73%).  In short, Miami sucks now and has always sucked! no

It's 8:54 am in Austin, TX where a dusting of snow swept through the region for the first time in a long time. The snow was blowing from Southwest to Northeast, with the only logical reasoning being that a polar vortex of suck has parked itself near Millett Hall in Oxford, OH and has caused a weather anomaly.

Good Gawd does this Miami team suck. They suck so bad that their bus could get them back to Oxford without fuel because of the suck coming from Millett Hall.

Akron, and to a lesser degree, Kent are recent developments. Miami has always sucked. It's in their DNA
